Last year, after sentization of community civil society through varous interventions 6131 job cards issued, 5158 people benefited, 859 women benefited, 26749 mandayas provided in Mansi Block, and among them 10569 mandays provided to women. (full story)

The Centre for Communication Resource Development (CENCORED) started working with an impact assessment study supported by UNICEF in the year 1990. Set up by a group of professionals and active social workers to promote gender equality, enhance citizens participation in the democratic process and to focus primarily on promotion of leadership development among women and dalits, it got registered under the Bihar Societies Registration Act, 1860 in the year 1993 and under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, in the year 1994. It is governed by a seven member Executive Council consisting of eminent professionals drawn from different fields. The registered office of CENCORED is at 223, Triveni Apartments, Buddha Colony and is presently located at A-16, Buddha Colony, Patna - 800001 while field offices are at Muzaffarpur and Khagariya districts in Bihar.
